Hi, I have taken a video, but cant see how to upload it.
Here is a photo. The light is on constant white light.

That's a Hub 5. A solid white light is normal. However a hissing noise is not and suggests to me some sort of electrical arcing.
The hub has been pretty well received on here but one user on Reddit posted a video of one with smoke coming out of the top (albeit in a very dusty and dirty environment https://www.reddit.com/r/VirginMedia/comments/1dlttjy/my_internet_is_so_fast_my_router_caught_fire/)
Keep the hub unplugged for now and seek a replacement. Also consider a more ventilated position for it.

Is it possible for me to seek a replacement please? How do I do this? The contact us and help pages don't cover this kind of fault?
