loss of connection every night at 1.4am

Just to let you know, im getting the exact same issue.  Every Tues, Weds and Thurs Morning between 2:00-2:40am, my hub 5 reboots for no reason.  Been told its trying to get a firmware update, but because I have it in modem mode it cant update.  Stuck it in router mode last Thurs, but nothing happened.  going to have to wait now till Tues morning to see if it reboots again.

      yeah i know now.  Put it in router mode and it still rebooted.  It has to be some kind of network issue, as I have had two hub 5's now, all cables and connectors were replaced, engineer checked power levels and said all ok.  but still every Tues, Weds and Thurs morning between 2:00-2:50am the hub 5 reboots with message "Cable Modem Reboot because of - unknown"

    I think VM can send a command to reboot the hub as for what for I don't know maybe for noise checks as the hub reboots its silent till it goes on line.
