Longer cabling required
Hello All - we are currently undergoing a home refurbishment and are looking to build our internet network around the Virgin connection we have come to enjoy using. We have the virgin connection come into the house, but we would like to place the router (and then also switch) elsewhere away from where the connection enters the house. To make sure we do this right and have the correct cabling from the virgin box to the router, it would be great if you could help us with what cabling we need to cater for? The short cabling that we currently have from Virgin looks and feels like a standard coax. Is that right though? There seem to be many more services running through these cables than just broadband, eg phone and TV, so is there more to these cables?
Many thanks for your help.
