Latency spikes and disconnect

Sometimes I have latency spikes and periodic disconnects:

 

But some days are ok:

  
(beside external monitoring connection is not used)

I'm currently using G.Fast from BT as main connection, but we have multiple people depending on good internet so I'm trying to get second reliable connection, also we can use something faster than current 330/50 G.Fast connection. Only Vigrin up to 1G and FTTC/G.Fast is available here.

Would it help if I'll get new cable from different provider which still using Virgin infrastructure (current cable at least 13 years old) or it is normal for Virgin in my area (KT1) and new cable would not help?

    Thank you for your post, welcome to the Community Forums.

    I'm sorry to hear you've been having some trouble with your broadband. I've had a look on this end and everything appears to be in spec, but I can see that you have been affected by multiple disconnections. I can certainly look into getting an engineer to visit and look into this further for you as your connection should not be this intermittent.
