If you put the xbox close to the Hub does it connect then?

If not... try it on an ethernet cable whilst here and see if it connects

The Xbox One is an older model.

Its Wi-Fi may not be compatible with the 802.11ax Wi-Fi service of a VM Hub 5 or VM Hub 5x.

Try logging into the 5x router and turn off the 5Ghz half of the WiFi. Then see if the XBOX can connect.

some older WiFi stuff doesn’t like it if your 2.4 & 5Ghz net work share the same name.

If that works you could set up a guest network just for the Xbox disabling the guest 5Ghz band and re-enable  the 5Ghz band on your original network.

alternatively give your 5Ghz part of your network a different name (SSID)

Also try setting the Hub 5 Wireless mode to "802.11n/ax mixed"  on the 2.4GHz band.

If you have success with this or the previous responder's suggestions, it would be good to know what worked as well as what failed and perhaps should be omitted next time.
