New installation on Monday, came to use my work laptop today and the VPN connection with forticlient is not stable. As soon as I try to use software associated with licences and the VPN, the router stops broadcasting to every device.
Are there settings i need to modify to enable my VPN to be stable?
VM do not support VPN's in any case.
I assume this is over Wifi? Have you tested a temp wired connection? Which Hub are you using?
If you are new to VM, login to the Virgin Media online account and make sure Child Safe is disabled. The Child Safe DNS filter typically blocks many VPNs / Tele Conf / Wi-Fi calling and more.
Child Safe is a DNS filter, so one can change the work laptop to use a public DNS e.g. Google DNS or similar and this will bypass the Child Safe filter.
Oh yes, I'd forgotten about the Child Safe, but looking at the section, it seems pretty broken ,,,,,
