Is it easy to move my hub

I get my weekly "Edit" from Virgin giving a general message  about repositioning my wifi hub.  Its all about avoiding fish tanks etc but makes no mention of how you go about moving my hub!!!  In my case there is a coax socket on the wall from outside and a short length of coax cable to its current postion.  Can I just get a longer length of coax unplug the existing, and plug in the new longer coax into the wall and the hub to place the hub in a central location some 30 feet away from where it is now.  No contact with virgin, new codes etc etc???  Just move it!
