Internet dropouts DNS response time.

These events all equate to perceived internet dropouts/disconnects, Apps timing out, not connecting to e-mail servers and generally poor net performance. I've confirmed that WPAD is configured. So that can only mean the problem lies with the VM DNS servers. Event 1014 is a slow or no response from the DNS server.

*Note: These events/dropouts  ARE NOT LOGGED ON THE VM HUB. So VM can say there is not a problem with their internet service.

Sort your servers out VM.

In your thread <Here>  Forum Staff member John_GS advised 'we've noticed your 5ghz channel is 124 and this doesn't work which will cause congestion of the 2.4ghz channel and incompatible devices to not function. We do recommend a full 60 second PIN reset. Let us know if this fixes things.'

Have you changed the 5ghz channel? This is a DFS channel and it's generally advised not to use them as they can be prone to dropouts.

  • Hi wtf_is_this

Welcome back to the Community Forums.

Sorry to hear of your service concerns. We can see that you've another thread open on which you're receiving support. We ask Community members not to open multiple threads on the same issue. This is so we can offer help and advice within one space and save from any confusion and repeated requests that can cause issues on the account, which may delay any resolution. This also helps other members in finding all the support they need in one space, should they have similar questions/concerns.

Should you still need support on this, please respond in your already opened thread where we are already assisting you with this concern.
