Intermittent signal in your area

Stating through their callline there isn’t an issue in the area yet my broadband keeps dropping out and this is the message I get when I do a test. Which is it?   I seriously have got an issue as I can’t even log in with certain hardware because every 30 seconds or so it stops working and then back and goes again in this cycle.  

anybody else got same issue.  Clevedon

    Clevedon is legacy HFC network, so it won’t be a Hub5x.

    Would be worth looking at the hub stats to see if it’s a borderline signal issue.

    Thanks for posting and welcome to the community. Sorry to hear of any signal issues. When we've done a check today, there's no issues or area outages showing so we do hope everything is resolved. 

    If not, is it just WiFi you're having the issue with?

    There are so many things that can influence a Wi-Fi connection some of which include but are not limited to, a fish tank being in the same room, walls being built with concrete instead of brick, it could even be that your next-door neighbour’s router is interfering with yours.     The Hub's location could also be causing the coverage problem, so we do need to check the positioning of it. Can you please ensure the following

    Out in the open
    Next to the TV not behind it
    Away from large bodies of water (e.g., fish tanks)
    Away from baby monitors and cordless phones
    Away from microwaves

    Think of the Hub as a radio, and WiFi as the sound - the further away you are from the radio, or the more obstacles that are in the way (walls, electronic devices etc.), the quieter the radio & the poorer the WiFi.
