Intermittent broadband for months

My internet has been randomly dropping out for months and is impacting my ability to work from home and enjoy leisure activities (gaming!).

I have done many factory resets but I still keep having issues. I have added details of my log below if anyone can please advise what the issue may be?

Where there is a known VM fault, please post that in the first line of the thread.

It would avoid us squinting at your stats to tell you what you already know !

You’re right, apologies! I’ve seen that message so much I’m just trying to figure out what the root cause is and how to resolve

The 3.0 Upstream channels should all be QAM 64.
Seeing QAM 32 / 16 could be a local VM noise fault, or a loose or damaged coax cable.

There should be a 3.1 Downstream channel and perhaps also a 3.1 Upstream channel.
Could you share the stats for this too...

To check for known faults in your street, try both methods:

Call the local fault line: 0800 561 0061 – this is an automated number.

Thanks. I have found stats for 3.1 downstream.

Virgin have also provided the notification below which I’ve seen countless times over the last few months

Lots of uncorrectable errors will form part of the local fault.
