Hub alarm at 3am?

Hi

My VM 3.0 hub has taken to making a beeping sound every morning at 3am. It sounds like a digital alarm clock alarm, but I can't find any settings anywhere that might be asking for an alarm!

It doesn't affect the service, as far as I can tell, it's just a bit annoying if I happen to be up and about at that time of the morning. Most confusing.

Any ideas?

    AFAIK there is nothing inside a Hub 3 that is designed to make a beeping sound.

    As it also seems to be happening on a schedule, you should widen your search to see if it is anything else nearby that could be making the sound.

      Good shout, if there's nothing in the Hub designed to make a noise, it must be something else!

      I had a look around the area and guess what, there's a pocket alarm clock right there that wasn't clearly visible, but it's right beside the hub. And it has an alarm set for 3am!

      I do feel a fool :) Thanks for your suggestion, sometimes it's the obvious things that we don't think about, and I just needed a pointer in the right direction.

    Hey TonyJoyce, thank you for reaching out and we are sorry to hear you are getting this beeping noise.

    As mentioned there is nothing in the box to make this noise, could it be some other equipment maybe?

      The OP found an alarm clock was the source of the noise.
