Hub 5x Modem Mode ETA?
Anyone have any insight as to when Modem mode will be available on the Hub 5x?

You’ll have more chance of winning the lottery than getting an answer. If you scour this forum, there are multiple VM employee responses, which range from “we don’t know if or when it’s coming”, “its coming but needs testing and we don’t know when” and “it’s coming, should be before the end of the year”.
No one knows. I just eagerly await it. The 5X is terrible.
Agreed, I have just switched and bought a new router so that I could run a VPN from it and find out that this Hub has no modem mode yet, I managed to get to the page where modem mode is @ 192.168.0.1/?=modemmode but when enabled it doesn't seem to work
Yeah the page exists on the modem and some element of the functionality given the light changes but it locks all the ports down. I don’t know why it’s taking them 6 months to troubleshoot a function that exists on all their other devices. It’s probably to keep collecting testing/DNS data while they can.
I was given a workaround by virgin they said to disable DHCP and WiFi on my HUB anyone know if that will work in the same way as modem mode?

Do we have an update as to when Modem mode will be available on the Hub 5x? I cant believe this basic feature isn't available!
Having an absolute nightmare of a time with this exact issue also. Been down since Tuesday and my ticket won't even be looked at until next Tuesday. I work from home and this is crippling me.
Bottom line, the hub has no modem mode and yet is also completely incapable of assigning IP addresses correctly. Stuck between a rock and a hard place with every possible workaround being flawed one way or another.
Been on the network trial since 2022 and its been awful the whole time, but now that I'm a 'normal' customer this is the worst its ever been and the network trial support no longer exists. When will this all finally be resolved?Anyone update modem mode yet?
