Exactly the same here. Virgin Media hub 5x green flashing light for hours but internet still connected. Also reluctant to reboot in case I lose Internet connection.

I had this same thing occur on my router, after a bit of research and checking software versions, it was an update . Around 2:50am after I left a call of duty game, it updated / disconnected and restarted

Can you check the network log and confirm it was a firmware update? If so, can you post your firmware version? Thanks
- Alex0110Tuning in
The network log doesn't show anything other than logging into the router and IPV6 address not available. Even me restarting the router didnt generate anything in the log to say it was done. Version is 7.8.3-2410.5 and router had green glowing light indicating the firmware update. Other users in the discussion I started are also having the same issue

Still flashing green, shall I switch it off? Thing is we've got a lot of things connected to the Internet, lights, Alexa, Sky Glass, VM Flex etc., will give it a few more hours
