Hub 5 Pods

Hi,

I am just after some clarification really please.

Should the pods have been swapped out for different ones after upgrading from hub 3 to hub 5?

I have seen several posts saying that they should have been but not sure.

Thanks for any help you can give.

The pods need linking up with the new hub.

Call the equipment activation number on 0800 953 9500. You will need the model numbers, serial numbers/MAC addresses off the barcode stickers of all pieces of kit and also your account number.

Apologies, I don't think I explained myself very well.

The hubs are working with the new hub but they are on WiFi 5 not 6.

Looking through here people have had newer pods sent out so they can make use of the higher speeds.

      Thanks.

  • Hey TBlackwell, thank you for reaching out and we are sorry to hear you are having some pods issues.

No the pods should remain the same, are they working okay for you?

Or are you having some trouble with them?

      Hi,

The pods are working ok. It's just they are using the slower WiFi 5.

I have seen some people on here saying that newer pods that use WiFi 6 should be sent out to make use of the gig1 speeds.

I was just wondering if this is the case.

      Thanks,

We're glad to hear they are working as they should be.

When did you get the pods you have now?
