The Hive Hub's network port may not be directly compatible with any of the Hub 5 network ports,
there are multiple very similar posts on this topic.
Previously the reported issue was the Hive Hub has a single speed 10 Mb/s network port
and the Hub 5 has moved on, it only supports network speeds of 100/1000 Mb/s and 2.5Gb/s.
The fix is simple & inexpensive, a 10/100 network switch or even a 10/100/1000 network switch is required between the Hive Hub and one of the 1Gb/s ports of the Hub 5. This will recreate a 10Mb/s internet service required by the Hive Hub and a connection will be established. Perhaps a device like : TL-SF1005D or TL-SG1005D
It is worth being aware the Hub 5 supports Wi-Fi 6, lots of folks have been requesting Hub 5 & Wi-Fi 6 only to learn to their surprise that many 2.4GHz IoTs and older laptops + printers are not compatible with the newer Wi-Fi 6 signals of the Hub 5. In this case an RE450/AC1750 has proved capable of bridging from the Hub 5 Wi-Fi to earlier IoTs etc.
