External work done, workmen left and internet still dead
Got a text message on the 16th sayign that virgin were carreying out external works today. I knew it was happening as we've been havign internet iussues for a whiel now. The lastengineer tried to fit a new cable to the box down the road but said there was a blaockage and someone else woudl have tocome out and fix it.
The workmen turned up (not in a virgin van but some 3rd party yellow van, i forget the name) and starte digging up my drive.
They never knocked on the door or announced theselves.
I went out after a bit to say hi and they said they had fixed the blockage and were reconnecting everythgin (despite the internot having not actually gone down yet at that point) and they'd be done in about 10 minutes.
The internet then dies (as expetced) and a few minutes later the van drove off.
it's now been an hour and the internet is still dead. I work from hom so this is a major issue.
I've tried calling the phone number 5 times and just get the same automessage everytime and then it hangs up and sends me a text on checkto carry out.
I've been on a live chat now for 30 mins and so far all i've managed to dois confirm my detaisl and what country I'm in.
If anyone from VM sees this I need a phone call IMMEDIATELY
