Ethernet Drop When Connected To 2.5ghz Port
Afternoon All,
I have recently purchased the Netgear MS308 8 Port 2.5 Gbit Switch Multi-Gigabit LAN Switch which is linked to the Hub 5.
I set the switch up and connected all my devices to the switch and all was working great all connecting perfectly.... I then noticed i had the Ethernet Lead which is Cat6 plugged into the 1ghz Port on the Hub 5.
I switched the cable to the 2.5ghz Port on the Hub 5 and now none of the devices I have connected to the switch will connect and all go offline.
The Switch is showing that the cable coming into it is running on 2.5ghz and all devices are showing either 1ghz mode or 2.5ghz mode as it should.
im totally baffled as to why this would happen, am i missing something?

All you need now is a 3rd party router with 2.5Gb WAN and LAN put hub in modem mode
VM do make networking easy
