Disney + not working on WiFi

Hi, I've been having an issue with Disney+ not working on the wifi on any devices for over a month now. I've logged it with Disney+ support who have tried all the troubleshooting steps they have available and none of them work.

I've restarted my modem hundreds of times, yet to no resolve.

Disney+ support have escalated it to their next line of support however I've been waiting a month.

Is there any solutions to this?

  • Disney plus does not like IPv6 connections. What model of VM hub do you have? 

    "NOTE: IPv6 (the latest version for issuing IP addresses) is not fully supported on Disney+ at this time and may lead to trouble streaming. Refer to your device manufacturer’s instructions for disabling IPv6. Some streaming issues may also result from an unusually high number of simultaneous requests for specific content."

    We're sorry to hear you're having an issue with watching Disney+ via WiFi. As it's a third party app, there isn't much we can advise on this I'm afraid. Do you have issues with your connection itself or with any other apps, or is it only on Disney+?

    For now, we would advise to stick with the Disney+ support teams as these will be the ones who will be best placed to help further.
