It's a change of downstream modulation (the OFDM channel). When a profile becomes to difficult to demodultate, the modem sends event code 16 to the CMTS, which then stops using that profile for that modem. When the profile is good again, the modem sends code 24.
Profile 3 is usually the highest and is 4096-QAM. Profile 0 is lowest and is vital to the channel (must not go bad). There are other profiles in use, but they have their own event codes.

What severity is the message? Only <Critical> ones really matter and then only in certain circumstances.

Hi @Zach_R it's nothing to pressing I am experiencing an awful lot of buffer bloat.
Which is in turn creating a mountain of latency. It is very flustrating when paying for a 1gig service lol.
Done standard trouble shooting rebooting hub. Testing different devices etc.. All with the same results.
Loaded latency in excess of 230+ms

Do you perhaps have a Broadband Quality Monitor set up on the connection to keep tabs on the status of the connection since your most recent post?
