Can't connect to Microsoft devices?

I've had virgin broadband for a few months now without to many issues but I'm suddenly having a big one.

Out of the blue I can't connect any Microsoft products to my network. Two xbox's, a desk top computer and a laptop all unable to connect either on the WiFi or a wired connection. My iPhone and amazon fire stick are all connected and working fine but none of the Microsoft devices are.

At first I thought it might be something on Microsofts end but I used the hotspot on my phone and they could connect fine with those so it's an issue with virgin.

Change your DNS to 194.168.4.123 or 194.168.8.123 and reboot do this to your devices not the hub

I'm not sure how I'd even go about doing that unfortunately

        Hi 1david10

        Welcome to the Community Forums.

Sorry to hear of your concerns with connecting your Microsoft devices.

Have you attempted the reset as advised by the community? Has that helped in any way to resolve the issue, or made any changes at all on your side?

Please let us know if you are having any further issues or have any questions at all. We'll be here to help on the Community Forums if needed.

Did you ever use the Connect app to pause devices?  If you did, there is a possibility the app didn't work as expected.  If you 60 second pinhole reset the Hub, that will remove anything the app may have done.

I'm also going to suggest a reset of the Hub, we had a DHCP failure on our Hub a few months ago and the effect was very much like is described here with some kit just not working.

The Hub reset is easy to do but it must be done as :

    1) Press & hold RESET for 60 seconds ( time it ! )
    2) Leave the Hub powered on to revert to the shipping condition & original passwords.
