Can You Set Modem Mode via WiFi?
Are you able to switch the SH5 into Modem Mode via a Smartphone connected to WiFi or do you have to do it via a PC/Laptop connected via Ethernet?

You can access the Hub's admin console via a phone browser on 192.168.0.1 and use the settings (admin) password on the bottom of the Hub. You can then set the Hub to modem mode.
HOWEVER, once done, the Hub is now in "bridge mode" and has no functions, i.e.no Wifi, no DHCP etc. etc. You will then need to use a wired connection to get to the console.
Personally, I never do any work on the Hub's unless it's a cabled connection.
You can engage Modem mode via Wi-Fi.
But first, make sure your 3rd party Wi-Fi Router configured and ready to go.
I'd be more comfortable having a PC or laptop to hand even if that means ( as we have ) buying a £10 USB 3 to Gigabit adaptor so a modern slim laptop can be Ethernet connected.
