If this happened straight after upgrading your speed, the first thing I'd check is whether you are on the right speed profile.
If your're on a hub3 go to 192.168.0.1 - no need to login, just press "router status" , then go to "configuration",
what number does it say for "max traffic rate"?

It set as '55000085' is that correct?

560 at the router vs 160 at the device ... so I guess that proves its not the connection (or the upgrade) and I'm going to have to do some investigation. The weird thing is even with the laptop plugged directly into the hub with a Cat6 cable I am still only getting 150/160.
Anyway I appreciate the help and I shall go do some configuring.

Could you try booting your laptop into safe mode with networking as it might be software limiting the speed:
