403 ERROR The request could not be satisfied with VM IP

I'm experiencing something very strange and can only pinpoint the issue to be when I visit certain websites, I get a 403 error which is associated with Cloudfront, which ONLY happens if I visit from my home router IP address.

I have no idea how to fix or if its even VM related, but it must be due to it only coming from my hub's IP not a VPN. So maybe somethings stuck somewhere. I tried clearing all my cache and cookies. But it happened on mobile too, when I tried to access the NHS app..

Here is the error:

Has anyone else seen this recently? Really confused and what to do about it. Whether it happens to any website using Cloudfront, or similar...
VPN is only a workaround..

What Hub are you using and what is your location?  Do you have VM Websafe enabled?

  • Still occurring fyi. I'm in UK with Hub. 3.0. Pretty certain i do not have that enabled but used to. Also trying to double check that in my account settings but just get animated logo with a white background and doesen't load anything

      Hi om96

Have you been able to check the Websafe?

Also can you confirm are you using a wired/wireless connection please?

      Best wishes.

Hi John, how do I check the web safe setting again? I saw I didn't have any specific security protection settings toggled, but couldn't find websafe. Also, looks like i was able to access a specific website I had trouble with before now. It happened on desktop and mobile devices. Wireless.

  • Hi, unfortunately I am still having issues again.. Trying to log in to the NHS app and get this 403 ERROR message.
