I received 2 email's within minutes of switching to Volt ("O2 username" and "we have received your order"), if you didn't receive those then I would say your switch wasn't processed correctly.
I would call Virgin on 150 from a Virgin phone, mobile or landline, or 0345 454 1111 from any other phone and select the "leaving option" and speak to retentions who are usually UK based, if you phone tonight and get put through to offshore CS I would try again in the morning, best time would be 8am when the lines open.

I phoned 02 thank you. Virgin media had not put order on correctly. All sort now thanks.
