I only ever managed to get one when really I need two. Had to speak to someone online to even get one. Now that one has broken but if you say a specific device doesn’t work the only options they give are to say you are too stupid to connect your computer etc. and there is no option to say the device is your pod. My experience is getting pods is too hard, they are unreliable and if they stop working there is no way to get technical support. Pointless.

For the cost of them, and the fact third party ones can be used with any ISP, I don't see why you need to waste your time with VM's devices:

Probably because it is meant to be free if you re already on a specific package.
I must admit I did not even realise our wifi was so rubbish, until recently, when we realised that, what we thought was wifi, was actually our mobile phone network we were connected to!
I have managed to get two wifi pods now, but I suspect we will need another one . Our home has thick walls and is longer than wider and over three levels, so not ideal for the Virgin Hub 3
Good luck with getting the Pods!
