Does anything work with Virgin...?

Engineer has installed service today and was brilliant. Had a look around the house and there are some black spots at back of terraced house. Prior to signing up to VM, this issue was discussed with CS who stated that I would be able to get VM wifi pods under wifi guarantee.

Have M500 package now. Have tried to apply volt benefits on o2 website, but given an error message "Sorry - it doesn’t look like you’re currently eligible for these benefits". Installed VM connect app, but app states it can't find my HUB even though I am connected to the hub and running VM broadband. 

Contacted CS who state that they can order hubs , but will be charged as the VOLT benefits are not active. Fair enough, but I need the hubs so that I can test the connection throughout the house during the 14 day cooling off period. Any ideas as to the quickest way to make this happen. If it gets to 14 days and I haven't had a chance to test the rooms in house and wifi pods then VM will be cancelled and back to BT.

    You will not like the pods VM one box modem and router is not that good and pods are only as good as the hub is making the pods useless.

    You likely may go back to BT or stay and get your own router and put hub in modem mode

    Welcome to our community forums and thank you for first post. Sorry to hear you were having issues with your Volt benefits as well as when trying to place an order for a WiFi pod. We can understand the frustration caused. We the can however see that you were recently able to place an order. Do you need any further help?

      You say that I was recently able to place an order, but I'm not so sure whether I was. I received a text message dtating that my pod would be delivered on 10/12. I waited at home all day for the delivery only to receive a text message in the late afternoon to say the pod wouldn't be delivered due to 'unforseen circumstances'. Since then, I have been told by your colleagues on live chat that a pod was never dispatched because of warehouse issues. Then another member of staff told me there have been warehouse issues since 1st of December. So I'm not really sure what is going on, but my experience has been a shambles so far , i am yet to receive even my first pod and have many blackspots throughout my home.
