TNT ultimate sound... again...
TNT ultimate sound cutting in an out on the rugby again... was the same last week too. Adverts seem OK though. Tnt 1 is ok with the same transmission.

I'm so sorry to hear that you have faced this issue with TNT sound, I know you have mentioned that TNT 1 was OK, but have you experienced this on any other channels? Was this just for this match or have you noticed the issue continuing?
Was just this channel. I only watch the rugby on it but has happened for the.last Two weeks. Can't be more specific than that my recording as well is unwatchable and there is no way to force a series link to ignore uhd content.

Not noticed any sound problems tonight, I do have a 360 box and when this has come up on the 360 forum it seems to be area specific so it might help if you say where you live, not your Virgin area code.
well it was Saturday now and live in Stourbridge DY8. Just reporting it as it may be just broadcast specific as well I think Sunday's rugby was ok

Coming back to this. Checking over the last two days it is constant even when no events are on just adverts and it is live stream or recordings and is happening on both my v6 boxes
Can't solve my problem either easily as season passes record the uhd channel and I cannot disable this either.
And would you believe it the rugby was fine today... but before it was not.
And broken again this afternoon

I'm so sorry that this has happened! I cannot see that there was an outage reported at all on this day or anything reported that could cause this.
Where you able to check any other channels at all when this was happening? Do you have any speakers at all attached to the TV or is just the set top box and the TV?
All other channels.were fine and ultimate was fine for a while but the wasn't when the programming changed either between the broadcast and the adverts or vice versa. This is the only channel it happens on even the uhd virgin channels are fine. I run through a yamaha amp with surround sound. Have done for years and as I said it is only this channel and only sometimes and can vary over time. The box upstairs also does this and it is tv speaker sound. So not box related or speaker etc connected.
I am sorry to hear this. Sometimes with sport and live sport the way its broadcasted and depending where it is being broadcaster from can affect sound over the airway, the same happens to me on my boxes so it is certain sporting events this can happen to and not everything else.
There isn't really a fix for this as its just the way its broadcasted the only thing to do really is turn it up a bit more.
I understand it can be frustrating but there isn't really a major fix we can do apart from report it as feedback. Cheers
This can’t be explained by “where it’s being broadcast from” as it’s fine on the non-uhd channel. It’s the crap UHD channel playing up again in my opinion and something certainly should be done about it.
Happened again today halfway through the rugby game... started breaking up just before 2.45 and into the adverts and back into the second half. Was fine until then makes the recordings unwatchable too... hd channel 100% ok..
The sound is stuttering again on the Newcastle game. It was OK for the first 20 minutes but has now gone crap again
And again today just before the rugby..
