Tivo lost connection

I have two Tivo boxes both hard wired to the router. The original (main) box is in the living room with the second in the bedroom.

When watching a program recorded on the bedroom box on our main TV via the main Tivo box it often gets interrupted saying the connection has been lost.

I have checked all the cable connections and restarted the router and both Tivo boxes but the problem persists.

What else should I be doing?

My fault. I thought v6 was Tivo. Both boxes are v6. Checking on the virgin site it looks like we have Hub3. We are not experiencing any other issues

V6 & TiVo boxes both run TiVo-software, but are very different beasts connectivity-wise. At least it's now clarified.

Just to confirm, you're saying that multiroom streaming is sometimes interrupted on one specific box partway through viewing a programme? Do you have any issue with OnDemand using the same box? The connections are the same, so it's a good test.

If you swap the boxes around, does the problem follow the box?

I had this problem once but only one direction and after about 20 minutes. Changed cables and did notmmake.a difference. I had the one box replaced and it went away steady ever since. I put it down to perhaps a hear problem with the ethernet socket.
