HI my contract ends in December and while i was logged into my virgin media under offers there is an offer price for me saying you will not loose anything that you already have looking into the deal it also does not say about tv boxes because I have a lot of recordings on my V6 box plus a tvio box and at the moment I do not want to go over to the v360 as I was told it is an upgrade but looking on other post it is not an upgrade but totally different software between them
TV boxes are not in general contract related, just as the modem/hubs are not specified for a particular speed on the sales pages. If you are taking a contract that includes Disney+ or Paramount+, these are not available with the TiVO 500 or V6, & some of the apps on the older 500 are no longer supported, but apart from that there is no forced change to the Horizon platform from TiVO. Your choice is to keep what you have & lose more functionality on the 500 box. Ask for the 500 to be replaced with a V6 TiVO (by far the best option), or wholesale change to Horizon V360, which is converting your V6 to Horizon firmware & replacing the 500 with a mini streamer box.
