My new installed V6 telling me not enough space for recording 😞

Question

Hi there, I had my old V6 box replaced yesterday, as old one kept rebooting, so I set up a few series links as usual, only to find after a few additions I got the message , there is not enough disk space for a recording I tried to add from the TV guide , I looked in settings,system,system info , it says , Recording Capacity:up to 120 hours for HD etc etc.&nbsp; &nbsp;Free Disc Space up to 112 hours for HD etc etc.&nbsp; &nbsp;so why is my box not allowing me to add further recordings, please note I have been using V6 boxes for years, so I no how to use them, I know this happens when you use Keep till I delete option,and box is over 60% full, but this box has only 1% used disc space.&nbsp; &nbsp;P.s I also lose the small TV picture top left with a small, !&nbsp; Press BACK, when I click TV guide, this never happened on my old V6 box , why does it not show TV picture of channel I'm on ?&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Thanks for any help🤞

Just to clarify... you say that "My shows" lists 99% free, and system info shows 112 hours HD remaining?

That seems about in-line with ~1% used, unless I'm misunderstood your post.

The TV preview mini-window can be toggled via Home > Help & Settings > Settings > Display Settings & Subtitles > Video Window

Thanks for reply, just to clarify, my box tells me not enough disc space for any new recording I try to add although I only used 1% so far, so in my planned recording I get the dreaded "X" saying this recording will not be done unless I free up space!. Also I know about the video window,but the problem is it is there but Blank with an ! and BACKUP , there is no TV channel showing, I know I can toggle video box via the slow motion button on the remote ,but again when I toggle it on/off all I get is a blank box no picture or sound.Thanks again , but this is crazy on a new box.

Blimey this box is weird, I know find it If choose, home , the small TV box is blank and silent, but if I click TV button , then click home ,the small preview window now works, but I have to do it twice for every time I press Home to access TV guide, and if I do it again press home the box is blank, it's as if the tuners are to slow for the preview window this is crazy , never had to do this on all my other V6 boxes I had in the past, is this a software problem on this new box?&nbsp; I still have no idea on the hard drive disc space problem.

You have done a complete reset of the box?&nbsp;

No not yet, as recording sports at the moment, but it was fully installed as new, with updates took about 30 minutes by the engineer.&nbsp; If I do a complete reset of the box, will this not just be the same as yesterday, and won't I lose the recordings, and this will be ridiculous to do every time this box has a hissy.
