Jittery sound on TNT Ultimate
We had this last season for several weeks on BT Sport's 531 until enough people complained as seemed to be region specific.
Anyone else with the same issue?

My post 3 years ago and I put the channel on to watch the UEFA Super Cup and to my surprise or maybe not it's probably the worst I've known it.
Do we really pay extra for UHD content that is unwatchable?
This micro stuttering is still going on (NG13 postcode).
I don't really understand why a UHD channel with HLG HDR info is being broadcast with only a 2-channel PCM audio track. The non HDR feed has a DD audio track. It seems like a dog's breakfast.
This is a well-known problem caused by audio dropouts when switching from UHD to ad breaks as the ad server doesn’t have a 5.1 track for every ad. So, when the incoming Dolby audio PID disappears the V6's or 360’s decoder drops to stereo to maintain audio but doesn’t switch back to Dolby audio. There's nothing you can do if a manual selection of Dolby audio doesn't work. This problem also exists on the Sky and EE TV platforms but it seems to be less worse.

Has there been a fix for this issue? I have terrible intermittent sound on TNT Ultimate. So much so it's difficult to watch. I've git decent HDMI cables & TVs yet the sound issue is bad on 5 different setups.
I have been complaining about this for ages and have the same issues. I have my own post on this. I am not convinced (I am being told it is the TNT's problem) but it is random and also can be cleared a lot of the time with a few channel switches. I have it on two boxes one connected to an amp and one through TV and when it happens on one it is not happening on the other or vice versa or both at the same time. It seems to be when the transmissions switch between ultra HD and then normal HD in the adverts? it seems to really unsettle the V6 box to be honest but nobody believes me at all.. hope you get resolution because I have not
Watching Tottenham/Wolves on TNT Ultimate 11/11/23 and sound cuts in and out. No problem on HD or other channels.
Same problem during Arsenal CL game on Wednesday.
Anyone else have a problem with intermittent sound on TNT Ultra. I’ve experienced it for several months now with no problems on any other channel.

Today Wolves v Spurs at first I thought it was OK but it is still stuttery, maybe not as bad or I am just getting used to it now 😄

We were made aware of this issue during last weeks Champions League matches.
It has been fed back and is currently being investigated. The Wolves vs Spurs match will fall under the same investigation.

TNT Ultimate is always same, doing it right now on Chelsea game, intermittent drop out on sound. So annoying
Had same issues with BT Ultra on the 19th August watching Man City v Newcastle game! It’s a problem that needs resolving as it impacts on viewing experience! Had to switch to HD stream instead. Issue needs sorting ASAP! I am in Area 20.

If it helps the problem is not just on virgin media. I'm watching tnt sports ultimate feed via the discovery+ app on my tv and in getting the audio issues. Occasionally when the audio issue happens pic jitters too. Frustrating as happens around 10-15 times during live game. If I'm watching tnt sports on other channels (not ultimate) there is no issues. They don't even acknowledge the audio issues live on air.
I've noticed the sound dropping out on BT Sport Ultimate recently, including tonight.
My 360 Audio Output was set to follow Content, I changed it to PCM5.1 (HDMI only) at half time, and had no further drop outs.
