For about half an hour this morning, a bit before 9am, channel 101 in the West Midlands area was replaced with what appeared to be a looping trailer for TBN UK (a God-slot channel not currently provided by Virgin as far as I know).
The regional BBC1 variations were not affected, so we watched one of those in the meantime. Someone in the switching centre pushed the wrong button methinks.

TBN UK is on the same broadcast mux as BBC1 HD, but only on the Freeview terrestrial TV network, not on VM. VM receives all the BBC services direct via fibre to one single point on the network near Heathrow airport, & then distributes them around their own infrastructure.
Any chance you had gone onto Freeview by mistake?
