Virgin TV Box broken but no support available

So my box just keeps restarting after Welcome screen. According to other posts here, this generally means the box needs replacing. It's too late to call for support and the online chatbot says it will connect my Whatsapp but never does, or if I say I don't have it, it just disconnects and deletes the discussion. Seems impossible to get hold of any real person at all to arrange a replacement. Hoping a Virgin Support person might see this post and reach out somehow to help? The Online Support Chat really is broken currently.

    As a last throw of the dice, try the following reset...

    Turning off the 360 by the switch on the back of the box; then on the front of the 360 box hold down both the power button and the - (minus) button at the same time. Then turn on the 360 again whilst keeping hold of those buttons for a further 30 seconds.

    If this fails, VM staff should be along on this post in a day or two.
