Virgin fail to deliver new 360 boxes

Cancel - I would like to cancel my latest contract upgrade as Virgin Media have not delivered the kit. How do I cancel without having to spend two hours on the phone ? I am within the 14 day cooling off period. Any ideas ?

  • If you look at the last page of the e-contract [assuming it was sent by email, or it should be on the website once you login] it will give a form and an address to send it to. If you are of the suspicious type, send it "signed for" at a Post Office and you will be assured it has arrived.

  • I received an email this afternoon asking why my kit wasn't activated and gave me a link to send my kit back. This is want it said.

This won't cost you a penny. We popped a pre-paid returns label inside the packaging your kit was delivered in. Simply stick it over your address on the package and drop it off at any Yodel store. Find your nearest one www.yodel.co.uk/store-locator".

  • What is the contract upgrade that you are now expecting new equipment.

If you have a V6 box then the only new 'thing' you will receive is a 360 remote if you are changing from V6 to 360 and the V6 box will receive a software update to install in around 5 days before it does it automatically.

After you receive the 360 remote there should be an "Install Now" or similar message on your V6 box.

Just be sure you want the 360 up/downgrade, because you can't go back if you don't like it.

If the "upgrade" was a switch from V6 to 360, then I'd consider yourself lucky and hope VM doesn't notice!
