My 360 box is more than 3 metres from hub 5. Is it better to move hub 5 into the room the 360 box is in

Using an Ethernet cable for the connection between the TV360 & home-hub is always recommended, if possible. It means that all the additional variables & issues with wireless connectivity are eliminated.
If you must use wireless, then use the diagnostics menu to check signal strengths.
Thanks for the reply. I am concerned about the coaxial cable and how long it can be. I have ethernet in every room of the house.
Can I just add the coaxial cable extender that VM are sending to.e.
Thanks for the update.
The coaxial cable is the cable I am enquiring about. Can I just put the extension on to the 360 box from the hub 5
Hi Badger,
Thanks for taking the time to contact us via the Community. It's lovely having you on board with us in the Forums. ⭐
In terms of which is best, it's always preferred to connect the hub to the 360 via ethernet however if this is not possible, then we can look at moving the hub. There is a £25 charge for the engineer visit for this.
In terms of your comments regarding the coaxial cable, this is only to connect your VM services to the network. You would not be able to use this to connect to your TV aerial or to connect the hub to the 360 box.
Many thanks,
Thanks for the reply. I have installed everything now as I had already networked my house with cat 6 cable. The coaxial cable was my conundrum. I used a coaxial long cable from router and all is well.
Mrs Badger likes the 360 box.
Thanks again
