in the previous version i was able to enter times to trecord part of a programme,for instance the last 20 minutes.
searched through the new version and it looks like i can only record the fulll programme and not just part of it..
anyone offer advice

The 360 doesn't have manual recording options. However it's very easy to FF through shows to the appropriate time.
Sounds like you're referring to the TiVo-software's option to set a manual recording, defining the start time, finish time & channel yourself.
TV360 runs Horizon-software and doesn't have this option. You can only set recordings from the TV guide with a few additional tweaks. You will need to record the whole programme and fast-forward through it.

can i ask another question please?
when i want to copy a programme that has mutiple series i want to copy the epsiode and other new ones but it copies every episode that the series has on your files...for instance it may have 5 or 6 series but all i want are new episodes but i get every episode thats been shown and every episode thats still to be shown...
anyway around that problem..

Press the red record button and scroll down to the Advanced options, press OK, you should then receive the following options;
This episode only, From this episode onwards, All from series xx only, All from series xx and onwards, New episodes only and All available episodes.
These options sometimes vary on the programme.
Just to add to the previous advice about fast forwarding, use voice control and say skip 20 or 40 minutes whatever it might be. 👍
