V6 Box won't pause or rewind.

I've had the V6 box for a few years and updated to the 360 a while back but still have the old box but new remote.

Over the last few months I have to keep rebooting my box as it was deleting all my recordings. I'm now having to do a factory reset approx every 2 weeks. 

Now over the last week it won't let me pause or rewind live tv.

Possibly hard drive failing ?

  • If the 360 has deleted your recordings and planned recordings it's a sign that the box is faulty, especially if it has done it more than once. If you also can't pause and rewind live TV then there definitely is a problem and you need your box replacing.

    You can either call Virgin on 150 from a Virgin phone, mobile or landline, or 0345 454 1111 from any other phone to report a fault, or wait here for one of the forum team to pick this up which might be 2 to 3 day's.

      Yeah it would appear my box is about done. I'll try and contact them over the weekend.

        We're sorry to hear you've had some issues with your 360 upgrade. It certainly does sound like there is an issue with the box. We won't be able to fix this remotely so I would like to arrange for an engineer to come to take a look at this for you.
