Using phone as a remote

I have the tv go app and a 360.box. If I go away for a few weeks I can't record any new programmes as the app says the 360 box is in stand by mode and won't record until.it wakes up. I understand I should be able to wake it up using the app as a remote but I can't find that option - I don't have a menu option - HELP

    If you go to Settings, System, Standby power consumption, make sure the box is set to fast start or active start and you should be able to set recordings using the TVGO app, sometimes having it set to active start there is a delay on the app but usually works, for me anyway.
