Unable to record from Virgin TV go app

I’m trying to record from the TV go app but it says my tv is offline. The 360 box is on when I’m doing this so I’m not sure what the issue is. It’s set to active start.

  • Are you using an android device phone or tablet or iPhone / iPad.

    Shouldn't make any difference but I think apple users have more problems so saying what device you are using might help with getting the correct advice.

    Can you use the app as a remote for the 360 or does it still say the box is off.

      I have an iPhone. I've not checked if I can use the app as a remote. I will check this later when I get home.

    Sorry to hear of your concerns with recording on the TVGO app. 

    Have you been able to try the checks kindly advised by roy247?

    Ensure the app is fully updated and try fully powering off your TV360 and turning it back on.  

    Keep us posted with how you get on.

      Hi. I’ve tried again after turning the box on and off but still get the same message about it being offline. I can connect to the box and use the app as a remote though. Very frustrating.

        Thanks for reaching back out to us, sorry to hear of the issues that you are facing with the TVGO app and your TV box. Have you ensured that the tv box is connected to the VM network via Wi-Fi or ethernet and that you have connected the box to the Virgin Media server also, and that the registered email on your account is the same used for the Virgin TVGO app?
