TV360 install not appearing

Hi all,

Newbie here. Received a tv360 remote a week ago but the install option has never appeared on the app screen. Still see just the upgrade message. Remote does nothing. Don't have time to ring virgin support so should I bother with it or just put the remote back in the box and forget about it?

    A lucky escape for you!  Don't do it, it's a downgrade which you'll regret. 

  • If you want to try and cancel the conversion to 360 you will need to phone in as Virgin will still have your box as converting to 360 so you could still see the upgrade message. However I suspect you may not be able to cancel the conversion.

  • I've tried restarting the box every day but still nothing.

    I think my approach is going to be that if the install option appears it gets done but if not the remote stays in the box.

      Have you checked your Home screen the app to update is sometimes there.

      If the app does get sent to your box it will automatically update after around 5 days.

      Make sure you have watched all your recordings and made a note of your series links.

       

  • Thanks for the response and yep, checked home screen and nothing. It's been over 7 days now and nothing. Not worried about recordings.
