TV360 EPG

I wanted to record something on Eurosport 2 tonight, but the epg is wrong. Is there a way to update it so it shows the correct information or is it just VM being lazy.

I know it's showing correctly on other platforms as I have checked with friends and family who have other services.

  • No you can't update the EPG, I guess you want to record something when the EPG is showing cycling so you might need to set the cycling to record instead.

    Hi robolots

Normally with an incorrect  EPG you should contact tivoguideerrors@virginmedia.co.uk  They  won't reply back but they will update the EPG.  They don't generally perform EPG updates unless the VM guide differs from the broadcasters website.

I agree the EPG for Eurosport 2 is incorrect on my 360, but it's also incorrect on Eurosports own website.

I'm afraid the best you can do at present is to press the record button so it can record whatever actual program is showing onscreen and ignore what the EPG is stating is on.

The Eurosport website https://www.eurosport.com/tvschedule.shtml schedule for Eurosport1 appears to be correct, however the same can't be said for Eurosport 2 as it is currently showing a replay of FISE World Series should be on from 6:59 followed by Giro d'Italia Stage 9 from 9pm.

Eurosport 2 is actually showing speedway on my 360 box  although the 360  EPG is showing Giro d'Italia:Breakaway from 8:30 am to 20:30 followed by the same again until 1am.

The https://www.tvguide.co.uk/channel/eurosport-1   and https://www.tvguide.co.uk/channel/eurosport-2 pages appear to have the correct schedule.

In scenarios such as this, your complaint lies directly with the broadcaster.

If the EPG on your TV box differs from what the broadcaster is advertising or has scheduled, the guide errors inbox is the correct port of call - assuming the issue isn't already in-hand.

If the broadcaster is derogating from their own published schedule, then not much can be done - Eurosport do have plenty of historic form in doing this, and you should direct your complaint at them.

      https://www.eurosport.com/eurosport/contact-us_sto403644/story.shtml lists enquiries@eurosport.com as a contact address.
