TV box shuts down after upgrading to Virgin 360

I upgraded my set top box to 360 yesterday. When I switch to stand by the box will switch itself off after time and I need to turn it off and again to operate it. In settings it is set to "Active Start", but it does not start at all unless turned off and on again. Any advice?

    Sorry to hear of your concerns with your TV turning off with your set-top box. 

    Do you have any SIMPLINK features on your TV? The SIMPLINK feature allows you to control multiple devices using your remote control, which might explain your TV turning off along with the set-top box.

      Hi Carley,

      Thanks for the reply. I'm not sure I have SIMPLINK, but it now seems that even though the lights are out on the TV Box, it is in fact active and will come back to life. So, so far, things look to be OK. Thanks again,
