TNT Sports price

I've just been quoted £25 extra to subscribe to TNT Sports. I thought it was only £18? Have I been given the incorrect pricing information or is that the new, much higher price?

The price hike to £25 is almost certainly due to higher payments to secure football broadcasting rights. Eurosport has also been folded into TNT Sports and pushed up prices - but I'm certain that its removal from VM's bundles did not result in bundle price reductions.

    Hi CTJ72,

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but the monthly subscription cost of TNT Sports on VM increased to £25 per month on Thursday 26 June 2025. The increased cost applies to new Virgin Media customers, as well as existing customers wishing to add TNT Sports.

There have been a number of special offers since that increase was applied, including one at the start of the new Premier League season on 7th  August when it was £5 a month for the first 3 months - see <cordbusters.co.uk/tnt-sports-virgin-media-premier-league-deal> (which also confirms the normal price point of £25)

There's nothing to prevent you phoning again and haggling for a new price.

  • I think you will find that £25 is the standard price for the TNT Sports content that Virgin Media carry - it is certainly that price on Flex before the 10% discount. It was £18 back in May, so they have raised the price £7 per month since the end of last season.

You may be lucky and get a cheaper deal.

  • It is £25 a month normal price now, sometimes there might be an offer or if you are lucky depending on which package you are already on you might be offered a discount. Since TNT got sold this is why you now have to pay separately and the price really isn't under Virgin's control.

The overseas call centres just make prices up as they go along.  Ring again and you'll get a different price  Might be more , might be less, who can say?
