I've just updated my V6 boxes to 360, with the new remotes.
The remote has paired to my Marantz amp. I do not want this, as it is effecting some of the amp's functionality.
How do I stop the remote automatically pairing to my devices?
There seems no point resetting all my devices, if the remote will automatically pair again.
How do you turn off remote pairing, I just want the 360 remote to control the 360 and nothing else.
Once the 360 remote has been paired you can't unpair it easily, if it's just the volume control you can go to Settings, Audio & Video and set the Volume keys control to your TV.
Someone did say he managed to unpair an amp by just saying no to all the options offered when trying to connect a new amp, not much info and who knows if it works.

Nope, It appears impossible to unpair remote,
It should definitely be a option you choose to enable, not a choice forced on you.
I had to factory reset all my equipment to fix my issue, remote is still paired to my amp though
