Second box
Hi I would like a second TV box, I believe that I am entitled to one with my package. How do I get one, do they work through WiFi or do they have to be wired.
Many thanks

What's your basis for thinking you get a multiroom box as part of your package? It's usually itemised on your contract separately and supplied when you first subscribe to that package.
All VM TV360 & V6 boxes need 3 connections, a multiroom mini-box is no different. 1: Incoming separate co-ax cable for the live TV channels, 2: Internet connection via your home-hub for streaming & OnDemand (Ethernet best, wireless sufficient), 3: HDMI to your TV
The difference with a TV360 multiroom box is that it's a mini without a hard drive - so wholly reliant on your master box for the recording & HDD functions. You'll have one central pool of recordings between both your existing master, and the multiroom mini.
On my bill it states 1 additional TV l box which I didn't receive when I changed contract.
Hi malcsims,
On my contract it also says Additional TV Box, it also says Virgin TV 360 box and Virgin TV 360 Mini box.
If you have the Ultimate Volt package then a 2nd box should be included, if you have recently changed to the Mega Volt package then I believe the 2nd box is an additional £10 a month charge.
Follow japitts advice and give Virgin a call I would select the leaving option and speak to retentions who are usually UK based, best time to call is at 8am when the lines open, you will need a manned installation if you don't have a coax connection where you want the 2nd box.
In that case your next call should be to VM, querying why that additional box hasn't been sent out. It usually is by default. Do check whether you have the co-ax connection points in the location you'll be using the box, if not you will need a manned engineer install.
