Not a major issue, but I like the feature for convenience, but suddenly the remote no longer listens to voice commands.
When I press and hold the mic button, I just get a message on screen that says 'press and hold the mic button....' I've restarted the box and changed batteries in the remote but no change. Do I need a new remote? It's only about 3 months old.
I have same problem - have cycled through all the 'reset' stuff and getting same message!!! Maybe needs a bug fix!!!

Hi, I'm also having the same issue with the voice command on both the main TV box and the mini box, which started today. I have gone through the reset procedures and changed batteries

Don’t worry, the amount of people having same issue points to a fault at Virgins end. It’ll come back on its own eventually

Yep, same here. And parents, brother, friends. Reset all 3 boxes. Removed batteries. Box fully functional.
Spent 20 minutes telling mum the actual channel numbers for the 20 she uses, as she's never needed to know them! Real PITA.
She can't access her recordings through the menu either, as saying it is sufficient.
Box is therefore fully functional for some, but not the elderly who use voice control for everything. Nice one!
All boxes on firmware 5.21.
New bug since this morning. Better than having no picture, granted, but it's definitely been inadvertently disabled virgins end.
Not sure if the fault is at our end or virgin end but the voice control function has stopped working this morning. New batteries, reset and all the advice from virgin tried and failed. New remote ordered but I think this may be a bug from virgin end.

Mine also. Not just with the 360 box but also with the stream box in another room. I have tried all the suggested solutions but with no luck.

Ours voice control has just stopped functioning too. Changed batteries, reset etc but no luck. When you hold the microphone button it lights up red but doesn’t stay lit so cannot say anything. HELP!
Hi, this is a virgin issue with the LG boxes (360). I've just a new virgin system installed this morning and the engineers tried a new remote and then a new 360 box. They spoken to the tech team who confirmed its a virgin and issue and should be resolved very soon.
