If this is a software upgrade to an existing V6, this is not uncommon as some of the V6’s just don’t like it. A new box is usually the only solution.

So why dont VM supply a new box as standard with the 360, given all the issues? Surely they couldnt be trying to do things on the cheap? They are making a significant saving by getting rid of Tivo software, some of that should be invested in customers.

Something being a common issue on these boards, doesn't necessarily correlate to it affecting enough of migrating V6's, to justify replacing (potentially perfectly usable) hardware as a matter of course.
That's not something I ever recall VM doing as standard previously.

Hi Mjstone
Thanks for posting and welcome back to the community. Sorry to hear of this issue with the upgraded 360.
Please can you do a factory reset for us, trying both the 'keep recordings' and 'format disk'.
If this still happens after that, we'll then send an engineer to replace the box but will need to try those first. Best wishes.

Hi John,
I will try the factory reset.
Thanks

Hi John,
The issue has repeated after the factory reset. All recordings and schedules gone.
Can you please arrange for a new box.
Thanks
