Problems with Apple TV App

I have used the Apple TV App on my V6 box for a number of years. ie sign up for reduced price offers and then unsubscribe.

This question isn't really a VM problem but wonder if anyone else has had problems with their Apple Account.

I cant sort it our via Apple as I get an error message every time I try to sign in, and you cant complain or go to their own community forum without being signed in. (The error message just says An Unknown error has occurred. Your request could not be completed at this time.)

I did find a telphone number and talked to an actual human. She was very nice but not a tech person.

And there doesn't seem to be a way of reporting website errors to Apple.

I have already had a month's subscription taken from my bank account as I cant get into the account to cancel it.

Just wondered if anyone else has had this problem and has any tips about how to resolve it.

  • I had sort of given up on this, but was then offered a Black Friday reduced sub for 6 months.

    But was having the same issues as listed above, which actual humans at Apple and other suggestions couldn't solve.

    So I asked AI saying could they solves the proble for me in 24 hours before the offer ran out, and after a few mis steps (ie assuming I was on an apple phone and others) AI solved the problem.

    So this is on a Windows computer, and all it took was to find apple on the list of apps, delete it, and then log in.

    So not saying this is always the case, but it worked for me.

    New reduced sub processed and tv and computer now in sinc.

    Though not sure there is anything I want to watch!

      No I can get into the web site and through all of the checks and double checks that I am who I say I am, and just at the point I should be able to go to my account details, I get the unexpected error message.

      And if I try and access any of their so called help I cant because I cant sign in!

      And they dont have any option to report a web site error.

      It also means I cant watch anything via the web site or app via VM as I cant go through the log in process of entrying the access code that comes up of the tv screen after clicking on the VM app for Apple!!

      Which ever way I try to log in this is what I get.

      They dont let you post on their facebook page.
