Apple TV+
Apple TV+ was available through my to box then I get a subscription notification that it is ending.
Was it only trial through virgin?
When you sign up with Apple TV+ you get a 7 day free trial according to their website.

Could have been your Apple ID was eligible for a free trial if you've bought an Apple device, Apple quite often give away 3 month trials to various services when you buy devices. I think my previous phone came with a 1 year Apple TV trial and have been offered various 3 month trials to just about every Apple subscription service at one point or another with different device purchases.
I don't believe Virgin have ever offered a free trial of AppleTV+ (though I could be wrong)
Virgin media do offer a three month trial of apple TV as an 02 perk.

Can i ask when you signed up for the 3 months free, did you have to put your bank details in ? Also is there an automatic renewal cut off option so it doesn't automatically renew ?

Yes you need bank details and auto renews. You can cancel as soon as you sign up and you retain your free trial period... You just get reminders that it will close if you don't renew.
I can't find where to cancel 🤔 I followed the email link and it said if the link didn't open up, i may need to install apple music.
