Problem with TV 360 box

Hi All,

Yesterday, my box  would not allow me to stop, fast forward or rewind live TV and recordings and  it gave an error code when I tried to play a film. I checked the storage it showed 11%.

This is not the first time this has happened and the last time I called 150 and they took me through re-starting the box. I have yet again restarted the box and you guessed it- it's back to normal- but the last time was only about a month ago, my question is surely I should not have to re-set it again so soon after the last reset?

What was the error code when you tried to play a film?   Was it  from a live TV channel, a recording, or from an On Demand/CatchUp service?

Was the error code the same as the ones on your previous thread  (CS2214 & CS2000)  <Here>  which related to recording issues?

The failure to stop (I take it you mean pause) fast forward or rewind live TV would seem to indicate a hard drive error, and trying to read between the lines of your previous thread would seem to confirm that's the case, so that you actually need a box swap.

(In your previous thread you indicated, " I tried a system-reset (keeping the recordings), but this has failed."  Do you mean it failed to resolve the issue at the time, or that the system reset wasn't actually performed? It sounds like the tech that attended last time changed your VM hub (the broadband tower was showing a red light... and then replaced the tower unit, did a complete factory reset)  I take it that the complete factory reset (which would format the disk) was applied to the 360 box.)
